Adam Harbinson's writing pulls no punches! He writes as he sees it and is not afraid to address problems everyone knows are there, but no one seems willing to tackle.
In this book he demonstrates just how hard it is to live by sheer grace. There seems to be something, even in redeemed human nature that feels more comfortable living legalistically.

‘My Mother told me not to play with matches.’ Adam Harbinson, in his book 'God and Religion Don't Mix' has found a way of pre-igniting the whole box with a heady cocktail of ‘in-your-face’ chapters, which send a no uncertain smoke signal that religion without love is no more than a box of dud matches. They like to strike but without the Spirit they are no more than a resounding rasp.
This book is for the Christian adrenalin junkie, distilled of any niceties and leaving only the flammable vapour of pure alcohol. If you are the nervous type, have a liking for neat boxes and are somewhat alarmed by free thought, don't read this book and certainly keep it away from any naked flame.
